Booking & Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit and the Client's acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
The Company reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.
Any changes to the booking (date, size, equipment, or location) must be requested in writing and are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Payment Terms
A deposit of 50% of the total hire cost is required at the time of booking to secure the date and equipment.
Of the initial 50% deposit, 30% is a non-refundable retainer. This retainer covers administrative costs, equipment reservation, and planning time and is retained by the Company regardless of cancellation.
The remaining balance of 50% is due on the day of the event, once the marquee installation is complete and accepted by the Client.
All payments are to be made by bank transfer to the details provided on the invoice. The Company reserves the right to withhold installation or remove equipment if payment is not received as agreed.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing to hello@eventure.london.
- The 30% non-refundable retainer is retained by the Company in all circumstances.
- If cancellation occurs more than 28 days before the Event Date, the remaining deposit (20%) will be refunded.
- If cancellation occurs within 28 days of the Event Date, the full 50% deposit is forfeited and retained by the Company as agreed compensation for the cancellation.
The Company reserves the right to cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances (including but not limited to severe weather, equipment damage, or force majeure). In such cases, all monies paid excluding the non-refundable retainer will be refunded in full.
Delivery, Installation & Breakdown
The Company will agree a suitable installation date and time with the Client in advance of the Event Date.
The standard hire period includes 1–3 days of hire. Additional days are subject to surcharges as quoted.
The Client is responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to the installation site at the agreed time. Any delays caused by the Client resulting in additional costs (including additional labour or vehicle time) will be charged accordingly.
The Company will carry out breakdown and collection at an agreed time following the event. The Client must ensure the site is accessible at this time.
The Company operates primarily within the M25. Jobs outside this area are subject to assessment and may incur additional travel charges.
Client Responsibilities
- The Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions, planning consents, or licences required for the erection of a marquee at the chosen location.
- The Client must provide accurate information regarding the site, including any underground services, overhead cables, or restricted access.
- The Client is responsible for the Equipment from installation until breakdown. Any damage, loss, or theft during this period will be invoiced to the Client at replacement cost. The Client must report and photograph any damage within 24 hours of the event. Failure to report damage within this period does not remove the Client's liability.
- The Client must not move, dismantle, alter, or sublet any Equipment without prior written consent from the Company.
- The Client is responsible for ensuring guest numbers and activities are appropriate for the size of marquee hired.
- No items should be stuck to, fixed to, or suspended from the marquee sides, roof, or framework without prior consent.
- The Client must ensure grass is cut short and the site is clear of debris prior to installation.
Liability & Insurance
The Company holds public liability insurance covering the installation and operation of its equipment.
The Company's liability is limited to the total value of the hire contract. The Company is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic losses arising from the hire.
The Company is not responsible for damage caused by extreme weather conditions, acts of God, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
The Client is strongly advised to arrange their own event insurance to cover cancellation, personal injury, and property damage.
Weather & Safety
Marquee structures are designed to withstand typical British weather conditions. However, in the event of exceptionally severe weather, the Company reserves the right to modify, reposition, or remove structures for safety reasons.
The Client must not use open flames, fireworks, or hazardous materials within or immediately adjacent to the marquee without prior written consent from the Company.
The Client must not enter the structure during the installation or breakdown process.
